Party in Plum

Hello! A few days ago, I went to a Sweet 16 for my friend Emily. I normally don't like blogging all sweet 16s, but Emily's was so original I couldn't resist. I wore a plum dress- pictures below.

When we first arrived, I didn't know what to expect. We walked into a room with 3 cabana-type structures and little tables in the middle with candles. 

I apologize- I only had my phone with me. 

The dance floor was very big-too big for the amount of people there. However, that didn't stop us from dancing. 

This was my favorite part! Her 16 candles was this tree display! I have never seen anyone use a tree for her candles. Normally, it is a foam display spelling out the girl's name. This was defintely a new spin on it.

Emily also had a photobooth which was so nice. It took pretty decent pictures, which I now have hanging up on my wall!

Dancing in a Winter Wonderland

Hello! Sorry for not posting recently, the holidays are always a busy season. I  will definitely  be posting 2 this week to make up for it. 

Last night I went to one of my close friend's Sweet 16. Her theme was Winter Wonderland, and it was done perfectly! Sam looked amazing in her dress and she seemed to be having a lot of fun! I had a wonderful time eating and watching her big  Italian family jump around the place. The venue had a scenic view of the water and the main room had a nice dance floor! We ate tons and splurged during the Venetian hour. Her party was 6 hours and I enjoyed every second of it. Here's a recap of the night:

Hair: I curled three front pieces and then pulled back the rest with bobby pins so it resembled being in a ponytail!

Sam had a larger party and everyone got really into dancing and socializing which was really nice. I loved going and makes my top 5 favorite parties! Happy Birthday Sam!

A Sweet Parisian Party

My friend Casey recently celebrated her Sweet 16 with a Paris themed party. I was lucky enough to be in her court, and got to share the night with her. We danced, ate lots of yummy food and laughed the whole night. I thought I would share some of the photos (these are not my photos by the way, a photographer was going around) from her party! She looked gorgeous and her theme was executed well. Enjoy!
