A Little Bit of Christmas Spirit

Hello everyone! It's getting very close to Christmas! Although not everyone celebrates this holiday, I feel like it is built into the month of December. Candy canes, wreaths and lights line majority of the houses and streets. Everyone seems a little friendlier and the streets a little quieter. Anyway, as soon as Thanksgiving was over, I pulled out the decorations! I went to my local Dollar Tree and found a few little items there. Simple items can go a long way.
I replaced my pink fake flowers with some fake pointsettas, and added a festive bowl nearby. I put some sweet treats in the bowl and I may have snacked on them a few times...
I then added some garland and ornaments to my bare door frame. It adds a little more fun to my plain walls.
They are tied on with fishing wire because the strings they came with were a bit short. The wire blends in pretty well!
I also created this ornament hanging decoration by tying balls onto the clear fishing wire. It looks like their  floating from a distance!
My final touch was the wintery candles! You have to love a nice smelling room. I have been loving the Marshmallow Fireside. These are new candles in the pictures, I have used them since these were taken!
Bath and Body Works Candles- Vanilla Snowflake, Red Velvet, Winter, Tis the Season and Marshmallow Fireside!
Thanks for your time and Happy Holidays! I hope it is filled with yummy food, fancy clothes and warm and fuzzy feelings. See you soon!

A Very Merry School Christmas

Hello! Yesterday, we celebrated Christmas at school. I know not all of you celebrate Christmas, so please bare with me for this post! It's a school tradition that we have a day right before Christmas break where we run around school giving presents and eating baked goods. We also attend the senior Christmas play which turned into a sing-a-long. Amanda, Steph and I went out to eat at a cute little cafe and then to the city to ice skate.
What I wore:
Zoella "Just Say Yes" shirt
Maroon cardigan- Forever 21
World Map Scarf- Urban Outfitters
Black Jeans
Meg, me, Amanda and Erin
Casey is sooo tall!
The best homeroom teacher I could have gotten. She is the sweetest!
Then we went to Manhattan! Bryant Park was packed with people and shoppers and we were afraid we wouldn't be able to get into the rink but the line moved quickly and everything went well! The ice turned to snow quicky and we only spent a short time there because it gets dark so early. We couldn't resist getting some waffles from the Waffles and Dinges stand at the park. It was a very eventful day!
Thanks so much for reading and Happy Holidays! See you soon!

Dancing in a Winter Wonderland

Hello! Sorry for not posting recently, the holidays are always a busy season. I  will definitely  be posting 2 this week to make up for it.
Last night I went to one of my close friend's Sweet 16. Her theme was Winter Wonderland, and it was done perfectly! Sam looked amazing in her dress and she seemed to be having a lot of fun! I had a wonderful time eating and watching her big  Italian family jump around the place. The venue had a scenic view of the water and the main room had a nice dance floor! We ate tons and splurged during the Venetian hour. Her party was 6 hours and I enjoyed every second of it. Here's a recap of the night:
What I'm wearing:
Forever 21 dress with a cutout back
H&M tights and black heels
Hair: I curled three front pieces and then pulled back the rest with bobby pins so it resembled being in a ponytail!
Amanda: pink and black lace dress from target and black peep-toe heels
Me and Kelly
Meg, Amanda, Anna, Me and Emma
The BEAUTIFUL Birthday girl!
Sam had a larger party and everyone got really into dancing and socializing which was really nice. I loved going and makes my top 5 favorite parties! Happy Birthday Sam!
Thanks for reading and see you all soon!

Ice Hockey Anyone?

Hello everyone! Although I'm not really into watching sports, my friend invited me to go see a hockey game at MSG. I said why not! I dress up all snug, and headed to Penn Station. Neither of us knew exactly what was going on, but Amanda knew more than I did. We talked about how being a female hockey player would defy stereotypes and that Amanda should retry hockey( she played roller hockey when she was little). Just think about how cool it would be for a girl to play in the NHL with the guys.
It was a really cool atmosphere, and  everyone was chanting and singing  their college chants. We had freedom to walk around and move around. In the end, Boston University won against Cornell.
Here's some of the photos we took. Can you guys which team we were for?
Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed/were inspired to go to a hockey game. See you next time!
