Hey Everyone! If you love looking at people's dorm room pics as much as I do, then this is the post for you. Although I'm not completely done decorating, it's at the pretty-much-there stage. I live in a house-y type thing, with 6 other people- my roommate Nicole, 2 other sets of girls and an RA. We have a small kitchen, dining table, two bathrooms and a common area with couches. So you won't see a mini fridge here, because we have a nice big one to stuff all our Ben & Jerry's into. I thought I would give an overview of my sophomore year room. I went with a travel/Paris theme and black and white.
I bought these cubicles for my desk for storing books ( Note: already crying over that Physics for Scientists and Engineers book) and some odds and ends. The more fun things are on top like books and movies and a cute teapot (it's a cupcake!!) and all the everyday things are in the middle/ bottom.
This is Paris themed bedding as well as Olaf and Tuesday. I got the bedding from Home Goods, so I unfortunately can't link it below :(
My favorite part! The black and white photos on my wall. I wanted to keep everything kind of neutral with pops of pink here and there, so this is my favorite part. I got the map cork board ( and no, I haven't been everywhere the pins are placed, I just thought it would be boring to only be in Europe/USA ) from Bed, Bath and Beyond. The lights are from Primark and I printed all the photos myself.
This is Nicole and I's fishy Herbert! He's a beta fish fyi.
Yes, I know my closet is ugly and yes, I'm going to get a curtain to put over it, but it fits tons of clothes and is built into the wall. I do need that little kid stool to get to the upper part of my closet, but look at that Dino!
So, that's about it folks! It seems small, but it's actually really great for storage. I have my bed lofted ( that little dino stool comes in handy) and I have more winter clothes and food underneath in plastic bins. I didn't ask my roommate to photograph her side, but maybe I can do a follow-up about Nicol'es side. I hope you enjoyed this post!
